Broadband Networking for Businesses, Broadband Server Set Up

Our broadband networking experts can produce CAD-based drawings detailing the running of cables to give to your electrical contractors, or - if you would prefer - our in-house engineers can undertake this work for you.

We can terminate and certify your new or existing cabling to either Category 5, 5e or 6 standard.

We can supply and install all the hubs, switches and routers necessary, including the racks to house them.

We can supply and install servers using Microsoft Windows 2000 Server / Advanced Server, as well as any client machines you require, using Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP. We can also supply and install any printers, routers, firewalls and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

We can configure the whole network, user accounts, email facilities and public information stores using MS Exchange Server 2000 / Outlook. We then offer a full training service so that your own staff can take over administration of the network one it is up and running.

Using network-wide anti-virus software and dedicated hardware firewalls, we can set up your network to automatically scan / quarantine / delete infected mail, prevent access to unauthorised web sites, and prevent hackers from getting into your system.

We can set up Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). These enable authorised persons to log on to your network remotely to access files, send and retrieve data, pick up e-mails and even video conference. Think of the money and time saved on travel!

Wer can install and configure IP cameras, allowing you to visually monitor your premises / staff remotely in real time.

We can design and set up local intranets (localised web sites). Keep your staff up to date with the latest company information, or increase productivity by restricting their time in front of a PC to only company related activities.

We can set up PC-to-SMS software. Send text to the mobile telephones of staff outside the office directly from a PC using a proper QWERTY keyboard. NO MR DGY TXT MSGS!
